Google launched "DRIVE"

Google launched its cloud based storage service with the name "drive".
Google drive is the new cloud based storage service after Microsoft's Skydrive and Apple's iCloud service.
Google drive service is presently provided for Android, PC and Mac. Support for iPad and iPhone will be coming soon by Google.

According to Google,s official blog " Google Drive is a place where you can create, share, collaborate, and keep all of your stuff. Whether you’re working with a friend on a joint research project, planning a wedding with your fiance or tracking a budget with roommates, you can do it in Drive. You can upload and access all of your files, including videos, photos, Google Docs, PDFs and beyond. "
Google drive provide free storage of 5 GB per account which can be upgraded to 100 GB for less than $2.50. When the user upgrade his Drive account package his Gmail space is also increased to 25 GB of storage.

With Google Drive user can store everything on it and share anything with it. The data that can be stored on this cloud drive can be audio, video, documents, PDFs and any other type of files.
Google Docs is now integrated with the Drive for making it easier for users to edit their spreadsheets, presentations and document at any time from anywhere. The Google Drive helps in accessing your data from anywhere and at any time.
This service has a feature of accessing the files offline, in case you don,t have internet connection.
When you install this app for Android, you will be directed to the Google Docs and later notified by E-mail when your free 5 GB storage is ready.
This service provide the storage space up-to 1 TB.
