How to add custom link to your blogger header image

Blogger header image has by default your blog's homepage URL. You can change this default url to any url of your choice. In my previous post I had described about How to add Alt Text to header image of blogger, changing header image url is although similar to adding Alt Text to header image.


Changing URL of Blogger Header Image:

• Go to Dashboard - Template - Backup/Restore - Download Full Template - Close - Edit HTML - Proceed - Check the box next to 'Expand Widget Templates'.
•  Find the following line of code. (By pressing ctrl+F and search for "<!--Show the image only-->").

1:  <div id='header-inner'>  
2:      <a expr:href='data:blog.homepageUrl' style='display: block'>  
3:       <img expr:alt='data:title' expr:height='data:height' expr:id='data:widget.instanceId + &quot;_headerimg&quot;' expr:src='data:sourceUrl' expr:width='data:width' style='display: block'/>  
4:      </a>  

•  Repalce  'data:blog.homepageUrl' from the above code with the following code

 '"www.Your_URL.com"'  

 Now save your template and check for the changes.
